Juteborg/Else-Marie Malmek had the honour of joining an exclusive lunch at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm, welcoming H.E. Ms. Wahida Ahmed, the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Sweden.
Alongside representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Business Sweden, Ericsson, and Sweroad, the discussions explored exciting opportunities in one of the world’s fastest growing economies – Bangladesh.
The Ambassador mentioned specifically the plastic and waste problem in Bangladesh and her strong ambition to cooperate with Sweden regarding recycling systems and to achieve circular material flows. Other focus areas are infrastructure (EV charging as well) and sustainable and robust energy system.
The Ambassador also works hard for women’s empowerment & entrepreneurship, a topic that I am also passionate about and actively involved in.
